SWI designs its facilities to ensure N+1
redundancy on all environmentals. In addition, each design accounts
for a number of permutations of requests for custom walled space,
allowing for ample cooling capability under any final design. The
temperature and humidity of each unit is constantly monitored, along
with temperature and humidity sensors placed throughout the
facility.
Fire Suppression
It is vital that any methodology employed for fire suppression allow
for prompt, localized measures to be taken in the event of a fire
while remaining safe for personnel and resistant to false positives.
SWI utilizes a double-interlock, pre-action, dry pipe system that
deploys on a localized basis.
Physical Security
The following features exist in our Data Center facility:
- Card key access monitoring system with cameras in key zones.
- Closed circuit video surveillance recorded locally and fed to the
NOC.
- Reporting of trouble and alarm signals to the NOC.
Additional levels of security such as
mantraps, biometrics, and complex card-key features can be installed
at customer request and shall be priced on an individual case basis
Connectivity
SWI currently receives bandwidth from 8 different carriers. We
give you the option of sharing out high speed multi-tiered Internet
connection, or provide you with your own dedicated connection from
any of our bandwidth providers.
